JUST4WOMEN: LEARNING WORKSHOPS

Using a gender-based programming strategy, the learning workshops are specifically designed to provide opportunities for information sharing and knowledge exchange on critical issues that continue to impact the lives of women in their personal and professional capacities including their role in the family and larger community.

PROGRAM TOPICS

  • Women's Specific Issues On:
    - Health, finance & relationships
    - Aging & mental health
    - Conflict management/resolution
    - Single parenthood
    - Career & self care
    - Personal development
    - Raising daughters
  • Settlement issues
  • Parenting in a new culture
  • Domestic violence/intimate partner violence (IPV)
  • Access to community services

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

  • Newcomer women 18 years of age or older
  • Any residency status: Permanent Resident, Citizen, Visitor or Work Permit

REGISTRATION

  • Intake Times: ongoing intake
  • Complete the registration form at our main office
  • This program is provided FREE of charge
